Petra in Jordan

The ancient city Petra in Jordan was discovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812. It is an UNESCO world heritage and one of the new wonders of the world. It is also featured in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Indy found the Holy Grail.
