Beijing National Stadium – Birdās Nest
The Beijing National Stadium (“Birdās Nest”) has a capacity of 91,000 seats and is made of 36 km of steel. It was built for the Olympic Games in 2008 and hosted the opening and closing ceremonies. The Olympic flame also burns above the Bird’s Nest stadium.
