St. Louis Gateway Arch
The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (aka “St. Louis Gateway Arch” or “Gateway to the West”) is the landmark of St. Louis in Missouri. The arch is 630 feet (192 m) tall and was completed in 1935. In 1968 a tram system and to the observation area (inside the top of the arch) was installed.
