The myth of Atlantis

The legendary island Atlantis was first mentioned by the greek philosopher Plato. According to him Atlantis which had an advanced and modern civilization existed around 9500 BC. In just one single day the island sank into the ocean and the residents flushed away. The map shows some of the assumed locations of Atlantis. Unfortunately there’s no evidence that this island ever existed.
