Deepwater Horizon explosion
Deepwater Horizon was an oil platform located in the Gulf of Mexico.
It sunk after a huge explosion on April 20, 2010. Many workers died in this incident and now a huge oil spill covers a wide area of the Gulf of Mexico. As many attempts to stop the leak failed, the Coast Guard tries to burn the oil to minimize environmental risks.
