NORAD tracks Santa

For over 50 years the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) runs a fictional tracking system in December. The system detects Santa Claus lifting off from the North Pole visiting several countries around the world and delivering the presents. This year Google Earth is used to track Santa in 3D. The “NORAD Santa Cams” take photos of Santa and his reindeer. On December 1st the journey starts and each day will bring a “new exciting activity for children of all ages”.
