February 25, 2008: Exactly 1 year ago on February 25, 2007 the Google Maps community GLOTTER.com launched. On this side a big "thanks" to all active users and recurring visitors.

What is GLOTTER after year 1?
Easy Web-Mapping! Creating new entries is intuitive and as easy as pie.
Compatibly! As we use KML for overlaying the placemarks all GLOTTER World maps can be viewed in a wide range of third party websites or tools.
Convenience! All maps can be embedded in other websites.
Fun! It's just fun exploring new maps on GLOTTER.
Service! The useful Services enjoy great popularity.

January 15, 2008: From now on you can get even more out of every entry! All GLOTTER-maps are also provided as "Gadget" or "Mapplet". Click on the icon you can find at each entry. Google Gadgets can be added to your Google Personalized Homepage iGoogle. Mapplets can be added to your Personal Google Maps Page My Maps and retrieved there anytime. Furthermore you can even embed the Gadgets to your personal website or weblog (FYI: The Embedding via iFrame is still available!). Click on the link "Embed on website" and copy the HTML-code. Enjoy the new services!
