 Description

The Palm Islands in Dubai are artificial islands. The construction of the first island Palm Jumeirah began in 2001. One year later the construction of Palm Jebel Ali was started. In September 2008 the resort Atlantis opened on Palm Jumeirah. It includes a hotel, a theme park and a conference center. In Dolphin Bay guests are able to swim with trained dolphins. A third Palm - the Palm Deira is in developement. According to the developer its surface will be larger than Paris.
