The Louvre is a popular museum in Paris. The Louvre Pyramids (built 1989) are large glass pyramids. They serve as the main entrance to the museum. Leonardo da Vincis "Mona Lisa" (1503-1506) is the main attraction of the museum. The museum also appears in Dan Brown's bestseller The Da Vinci Code (film adaption with Tom Hanks in 2006).
