L’Oréal - founded in 1909 - is the world's largest cosmetics and beauty company. The Magic Roundabout The Magic Roundabout - constructed in 1972 - is a weird roundabout in Swindon, England. It consists of one large roundabout with five small roundabouts in the center. Uluru (Ayers Rock) The Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Australia is a famous rock made of sandstone with a height of 863 m (2,831 ft). It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has a great spiritual significance to the local Aborigines. That's why visitors should not climb the Uluru. Les Catacombes de Paris The entrance to the Catacombs of Paris is located at the Place Denfert-Rochereau. The cemetery was established in the 18th/19th century. Today the underground tunnel system is a famous tourist attraction. Eiffel tower The Eiffel tower is the landmark of Paris. It was constructed from 1887 – 1889 for the Exposition Universelle which was held in Paris in 1889. The height of the tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft). It's architect was Gustave Eiffel.
