 Description

The diamond shape "Readymix Logo" with a size of 3.2km x 1.6km was carved into the ground by Allan Hoare in 1965. It was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest letters. Readymix is a company that was founded in Sydney in 1939.

@GneissRocks: The carving was created 45 years ago - erosion lets it fade away from that time on.

I like it but it looks like it may have faded or something when looking at the old photos of it from long ago. Have you seen the one that K.F.C. put out in the Nevada desert in 2006 of Colonel Sanders? Go to Google Earth and check it out.
